Raunak Sadhwani second at Julius Baer Challenge 2022, advances to the Tour Finals

GM Andrey Esipenko scored 20/24 on the second day to finish with 41/45 and win Challengers Chess Tour 2022 Julius Baer Challenge. He scored 13 wins and only two draws, remained undefeated. GM Raunak Sadhwani scored 31/45 to finish second. Both of them have qualified to the Tour Finals which will take place on 29th and 30th October 2022. Five players scored 27/45. IM Aditya Mittal, GM Leon Luke Mendonca and IM Prraneeth Vuppala secured fourth, fifth and seventh place according to the tie-breaks. IM Aditya Mittal launched a nice attack on the kingside in the Closed Sicilian to beat GM Marc Andria Maurizzi (FRA).

Vantika - Bibisara: 3-0

WGM Vantika Agrawal defeated the reigning World Blitz Women's champion, IM Bibisara Assaubayeva (KAZ).

Round 12: Aditya - Raunak: 0-3

GM Raunak Sadhwani used his king quite well in the endgame to beat IM Aditya Mittal.
